#16 The castle of Lichtenstein, Germany
Its foundations were built in the 1200s on the rocky top of the Swabian Alb mountain. It’s fabulous towers were erected in 1840-42 for the Urah prince who used the building as a hunting castle. Apart from the architectural attraction, many of these are attracted by the particularly rich collection of weapons here.
