Dangerous weather isn’t the only that that torments the municipality of Distrito Central. Violent crimes on both men and women are something of a norm to the people of Honduras. This municipality consists of two cities –Tegucigalpa and Comayaguela – and neither of them is safe. Gunfights erupt sporadically during the daytime between the police and several drug cartels, so it’s clear that this District is not a place to seek relaxation.
