Using of Mineral Oil and Sand for Preserving and Storing Your Tools

Keeping your tools clean and organized is always a good idea. To store them efficiently, consider using a container of sand. Simply stick your tools into the sand, and they’ll remain upright, making them easier to access when needed. After using them, give your tools a quick spray of mineral oil and place them back in the sand. This simple method helps prevent them from dulling too quickly and keeps them in great condition.
Use Citrus-Rind to Start Seed

A creative way to start seedlings is by using the rinds of citrus fruits like grapefruit and oranges. Simply create a small hole at the bottom of the rind to allow for drainage, then fill it with some moist soil. Once the seedlings are ready, you can plant the entire rind and soil directly into the ground. The citrus peel helps make the soil more acidic, which is ideal for plants that thrive in such conditions. Just be sure the plants you choose are suited to acidic soil.
